I support different advocacies, mostly involving kids. Last January 25, a week before my birthday, I spent my birthday with the Right Start kids at the Right Start Foundation center. But there are also those that are kids-at-heart-forever with special abilities / needs that require a certain kind of acceptance and reception. This one hits close to home since my sister Joyce is one.
She brings so much joy, humility and compassion in my heart.
I’m blessed to have her in my life.
Her simple joys!
The only person who can eat and sleep at the same time! 🙂
I’d like to share the video below made through a collaboration of CoorDown (Coordinator of the National Association of People with Down Syndrome) and Saatchi & Saatchi Italy.

This is a response to an expectant mother who had just found out that her unborn child would have Down syndrome.
“What kind of life will my child have?”
A scared mom-to-be wrote to CoorDown (Coordinator of the National Association of People with Down Syndrome) when she learned she was expecting a child with Down syndrome. The organization, in collaboration with Saatchi & Saatchi Italy, responded by creating this #DearFutureMom campaign:
World Down Syndrome Day took place last March 21st, but creating the awareness doesn’t stop there. Let’s help spread the important message behind Dear Future Mom to help advocate the right to happiness and well-being of people with Down syndrome.
With your help in promoting the video, the aim is to advocate not only the rights of those with Down syndrome, but also show our support to their families and loved ones as well.
Now, it’s time for some HAPPY TUNE! Let’s dance! 😉
