Market at the Hills

Salcedo Market has always been my favorite Saturday walk in the park –although technically we drive to the area.  When I still had my condo in Makati, it was so easy to just hop over Salcedo village and be part of the whole market vibe.

Bubba and I have also gone to the Sunday Market at the backyard of the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City, which is quite at the other end of the spectrum.

A new weekend market is yet to be exposed.  Market at the Hills offers 40 stalls of fresh produce, homemade delicacies, flowers and plants and native ingredients, but what makes this budding market-to-go-to distinct is the stream of the country’s top chefs showcasing their gourmet specialties in sample portions.

Launched on April 5, the spanking new market is open every Saturday and Sunday, from 7am – 2pm, The Clubhouse, Temple Drive (Near Rustan’s Fresh, Starbucks and UCC).  For booth inquiries, please call 6876770.   Entrance is free.
