What an eventful week this week is going to be for me –the opener for a fully booked August. Not only are my days packed with meetings, but the busyness also extends even after office hours starting with a Healthy Shabu Shabu event tomorrow at Shangri-la. Wednesday is the evening of reckoning as I made dinner reservations for 15 pax at Mamou –Home Kitchen, bringing a new set of friends in. Dining during the 2nd dinner schedule at 830pm, I’m excited to poke my fork in their popular PHP 1,680 steak again, which are their claim to fame as I’ve witnessed through the blogs of Market Manila, Table for Three and Margauxlicious. Bubba just sent me an SMS asking me to block off my Friday for something up his sleeves. Too bad I had to decline because Friday was already blocked for the AXN Beyond Trade Event happening at Embassy. Yssah gave me two invites and I’m tagging him there.
I’m excited to have the new Vios released this week!!! Although I’d still be too lazy to drive even on weekends, I really appreciate that my mom ordered customized plates with my initials on it and triple 8. I love the number 1 but 8 is my lucky number.
My Hong Kong trip last June was trampled at the start by a stressful week at work during the Eurocup opening. I didn’t even have time to get excited. I hope this is not the case this time around. I have two big trips lined up for August. One is during the weekend of August 15, which is a trip to Cebu with Travel Factor. It’s going to be a trip to Kawasan Falls, Bantayan, Virgin Island and Malapascua. The second one is the following weekend that’s going to be my much-anticipated trip to Macau. Ready for bungee jumping? *Shake head until it falls off* No-uh. Will I be ever ready for that?
