Fire Lake Grill -Tagaytay
Monday, May 26th, 2008After the heavy meal at King’s place, we decided to stop over at Fire Lake Grill less than an hour later to grab dessert. Returning to Manila via Tagaytay, it’s really a must to stopover the Cliffhouse ridge.
We arrived at Fire Lake Grill past 1pm when it started drizzling. I felt that the waiter wanted us to order more and get something other than dessert when I already told him that we were only having desserts. I’m not sure but his facial reaction kinda rubbed me the wrong way that it turned me off to order anything else.
Pineapple Carpaccio with Malibu Rum and Pink Peppercorn PHP 180++
(Served without dessert spoons. I had to ask for one.) This is such a sunshine dessert in contrast with the weather outside that day. Bubba liked the coconut ice cream and the sweet tuile cup where the ice cream was dished in.
