I cannot count how many Kung-fu movies I have watched since I was always into those when I was a kid. Of course, I am forbidden to exclude favorites such as Drunken Master. On the other hand, I cannot add up how many burgers I have eaten since my allowance became big enough to buy one.

I discovered Sango Burger Master during the 2nd leg of the Nokia Wireless Weekend. Briefly, the Nokia Wireless Event was a weekend long adventure with then-newly released Nokia N95. We had to tour the whole Metro Manila for a series of challenges and clues. On the 2nd leg, one of our tasks was to go to the music/production studio owned by Rico Blanco and one member of the team must sing the song Manila by the Hotdogs (yes, we are still on the topic of burgers). Since I cannot carry a tune for the life of me, my partner obliged to do his rendition with coaching from Rico Blanco himself. Luckily, Jaime (Jaime Daez of Fully Booked) had a great resonant voice and we were able to finish the task with no sweat. Only one team can use the studio at a time and it was on a first to come first to be served basis. We were 2nd to arrive in the Mile Long compound.
While waiting for the first team to finish recording, some of the teams already began eating their late lunch. Jay and his team partner were kind enough to share their food with me. They ordered from Sango Burger Master. Tim Tayag and Cathy Garcia were eating take-out from the same resto. I had a bite and the special sauce of the Sango burgers got me singing happy tunes. I couldn’t wait to check out the restaurant myself and chow at a more relaxed time. Me and Bubba decided to check out Sango Burger Master for dinner one night and have returned again and again soon after. Bubba cant get enough of the sweet thick sauce that is similar to a spaghetti meat sauce but more flavorful and less of that tomato tang. He usually orders the Sango Double Master Cheeseburger (177++) while I take the much easier foe, Sango Master CheeseBurger (116++). You can also order fries with their special sauce.
